Terms.
Last updated April 2026 · pilot draft
By using Baskit (the app, the website at trybaskit.app, or any of our services) you agree to these terms. They will get more formal before we leave pilot; today they're written in plain language so both of us know what we're signing up for.
What you get
- A grocery-price-optimization service in the 85044 pilot zone.
- Prices pulled from public retailer APIs, public weekly-ad feeds, and user contributions. We try hard to keep them accurate — we can't guarantee any particular price is correct at the shelf at any specific moment.
- An Apple Maps hand-off for driving between stops. We are not your driver.
What you agree to
- Use Baskit for personal grocery shopping. No scraping, reselling, or automated bulk use of our data.
- Don't submit false prices or junk receipts once the v1.1 contribution feature is live.
- Follow each store's own policies and staff direction when you're in their building. They run the store, not us.
Liability
Baskit is provided "as is" during the pilot. If a price we showed turns out to be wrong, or a store is out of stock, or a coupon doesn't work, that's on the retailer — not on us. We are not liable for any loss arising from using Baskit, up to the maximum allowed by law.
Changes
We'll update these terms from time to time. If we make changes that actually affect you, we'll email everyone on the waitlist and everyone with an active account.
